Raimondo Inconis (born Mars 27, 1959 in San Gavino Monreale, Sardinia) is an Italian classical bassoonist and contrabassoonist. He has been widely regarded as one of the preeminent contrabassoon players and pedagogues of the 20th and early-21st centuries, he was known for his sweet tone and powerful.
It is precisely for this reason, like many great musicians, he produced a characteristic sound which was immediately recognizable as its own.
